Maureen Castell
Bio
Award winning author, Maureen Castell, lives on the Canadian prairies. Because she likes stories with a difference, and believes in happily-ever-afters, she writes romance with a fantasy or science fiction twist.
Maureen has been a finalist in several romance writing and technical writing contests, and a Canadian Best Seller in non-fiction. Her latest win is the 2024 Diamond Heart for speculative romance from the Romance Writers of America for "The Viking Who Fell Through Time".
Her Vikings in the Bronze Age series consists of four books: “The Viking Who Fell Through Time” was published in 2022, “The Viking’s Shadow Lady” in 2023, and "A Viking in Atlantis" in 2024. The final book in the series is expected in late 2025.
When she isn’t working on her next novel, Maureen enjoys reading, cross-stitch, and hiding from the prairie winters.
